Notice is hereby given that the Warner Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, April 3, 2017, at 7:00 PM in the Warner Town Hall, Lower Level, 5 East Main St., Warner, NH for a Site Plan. The application will be reviewed for Completeness, Acceptance, and possible Approval.

As of March 6, 2017 all Class VI roads in Warner will be posted and closed to heavy trucking and Class V roads will be posted for 6 ton limit.

Involuntarily Merged Lots

If you own real estate lots that were involuntarily merged by municipal action, you may be able to have those lots restored to their pre-merger status. Your property may qualify if two or more lots were merged for zoning, assessing, or taxation purposes and the merger occurred:
  • During your ownership, without your consent;
  • Prior to your ownership, if no previous owner consented to the merger.
To restore your property to pre-merger status, you must:
  • Make a request to the local governing body
  • No later than December 31, 2021
Once restored:
  • Your properties will once again become separate lots; however, they must still conform to applicable land use ordinances. Restoration does no cure non-conformity.

Warner Village Water District - PUBLIC NOTICE

Water Restrictions In Effect As Of June 15

As of June 15, 2016, customers of the District are asked to restrict their use of water outside through the coming summer months. No car washing or lawn watering; vegetable garden watering is permitted.

The WVWD Commissioners voted to take this action for several reasons. One is that the District has been experiencing prolonged drought conditions which impact the productivity of the wells that depend on the Warner River aquifer for their source of water. Low flows in the river are indicative of these drought-like conditions.

The second reason is that the older of the two wells is failing. Even though it was reconditioned last year, it is not able to keep up with flows necessary to meet the District's demand. The air bubbles you may have noticed in the water are an indication of this problem.

The Commissioners are pursuing long-term solutions to the problem, such as siting a new back-up well and installing sophisticated well management controls. However, putting these measures into effect is beyond the constraints of the current budget. By cutting back on demand through restricting outside use of water, the Commissioners hope to reduce the problem of stress on the wells.

Parking Ban

The Town of Warner's parking ban is in effect and states that no vehicle may be left on any street, road, or highway in the Town of Warner between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m., from November 1st until May 1st of each year. Any vehicle found to be in violation of this ban will be towed away at the owner's expense.

Solar Array Exemption

For all new Solar Array Owners, you must APPLY for the solar array exemption before April 15th of any given year. The form to fill out is the PA - 29 found on the Department of Revenues web site or the form can be picked up at the Assessing Office in the Town Hall during office hours. You must provide a copy of the bill showing the cost of the array, the amount of the rebate from the PUC, and the amount of the tax deduction that was applied for or received. You must also include the number of panels and how many kW they produce.
