Selectmen's Secretary - Part Time

Job Description

Part Time: $12.38 - $19.94

Job Summary:

The Town of Warner is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time Selectmen's Secretary (up to 33 hrs./week).

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing the administrative functions of the Selectmen's Office, such as posting meetings, scheduling, secretarial support to Select Board and the Town Administrator, transcription of meeting minutes, processing building permit applications and handling requests from the public. Attendance at evening meetings may be necessary (avg. 3/month). Minimum Requirements: H.S. Diploma, minimum of 3 years of secretarial /office administration experience with experience in municipal government highly desirable. Computer competence in MS Office and Internet browsers required. Working knowledge of Adobe Page Maker desirable.
