The Town of Warner NH, Board of Selectmen is seeking candidates for the position of Town Administrator. Warner is a picturesque New England town (population 2,912), located 20 minutes northwest of Concord. Nestled between Mt. Kearsarge and the Mink Hills, Warner is the gateway to the Lake Sunapee region. If you are interested in working in an active community with a thriving village, 5 museums, 2 covered bridges, a state park, and a long list of community events, including the annual Warner Fall Foliage Festival, Warner may be the place for your next career move.
The successful candidate will be customer service oriented with knowledge and experience in municipal finances, human resources and town management. Under the direction of the select board, you will oversee the daily operations of the town, administer a $3 million operating budget and support a talented team of 17 full time and 16 part time employees. A bachelor’s degree in management, public administration, business administration or related field, along with 5 years of relevant experience is strongly desired. Warner offers a competitive salary and benefits package, based on qualifications and experience.
